Amazon.com Product Description Lightweight and compact, the High Peak Hyper Lite two-person tent is ideal for hikers and backpackers who want to stay light on their feet. The tent is made of 100-percent polyester, with a polyester flysheet and polyethylene floor combining to keep the tent dry and warm. The Hyper Lite also features two separate entrances, so campers don't have to step over their tentmates to exit the tent. Most importantly, the tent measures only 20.5 inches long when folded and weighs 6.6 pounds total. As a result, the tent fits easily in a hiking pack. Other features include inner tent pockets for gear storage, a ring-and-pin system for easy setup, and no-see-um mesh walls for convenient ventilation. The Hyper Lite measures 7 by 3.75 by 5 feet (W x H x D).

My most used tent September 16, 2009 LCA I use this one every time I camp no matter which of my larger ones I take. It is either used as a bedroom with a bigger (8X8)set up as a living space or as my "last night" sleeping tent after I take down the main parts of a larger camp the day before I leave. Depends on the camp and the conditions, but it is always in my car. Takes up little space and very light.
It has been through wind and rain; thunder and lightning with no leaking or flattening out.
I have had absolutely no condensation in cold weather.
The vestibules are nice with several options for setting them up.
It would be nice to have a gear loft in it. Anyone have a suggestion of what would fit? Suppose I could make one...
Luxurious for one with plenty of room for either an air mattress or sleeping bag and pad plus gear. Two would be cozy and very warm in colder temperatures.
A Great Value November 17, 2009 Arthur Grix (St. Charles, MO United States) This tent sets up and breaks down quickly. It is large enough for my 6 ft. frame. I found that the rain fly works best when you prop up the center guide lines with sticks or your hiking poles. This creates a little extra air space for both insulation quality and moisture barrier. As with all tents you can't be too rough with the shock corded poles. The poles count for about half of this tent's weight. I may replace them with a lighter pair to make it easier for backpacking. Every ounce helps.
So Far so Good March 18, 2010 Shetown (PA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This tent is much larger then it looks. It packs down very small which I'll be able to throw it in the back of my kayak which I planned to do. Its perfect for 1 or 2 people. I haven't got to use my tent yet but I set it up to check it out and I was surprised of the size. My friend has a Kelty 2 person, and its the same "style" of tent but mine was few inches wider then his. But exactly the same legth. Also this tent has 2 doors and vestibules which is AWESOME for gear, shoes, etc. Compared to his 1 door and vestibule. Hes a fag though so it doesn't matter. His poles are def. way better then the fiberglass ones I had got. I read some reviews and some people complain about how the poles break. But the company you buy it from is more then willing to send you another set if they were to break or crack which mine did. I was very upset that it had cracked before I even got to use the thing but they sent me new ones and now I'm a soon to be happy camper :-). Very good product and dealers.
Star watching November 15, 2008 Cat Woman (Connecticut) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I am 6'2" and found this tent to be exactly the right length for me. I spent a weekend looking up at the stars while snug in this tent. It comfortably held my single air mattress. When I lay on my back, with the screen flap closed but the other flaps open, the shape of the tent allowed me to look straight up at the stars. It was WONDERFUL.
The tent went up easily, put it up myself. It packs up easily as well. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a one person tent. Perhaps it would hold two but it would be pretty tight. With the single air mattress, I had enough room to the side to store my clothes and such.
great value August 14, 2009 Shed (Vancouver) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
great value tent. easy to put up, compact and roomy enough for two. not good for anybody taller than 6'1" i'd say.
