English saddle are used to ride in English riding disciplines throughout the world. The English or Hungarian saddle is lighter flatter and padded and was designed for sport and recreational uses. An improper fit can cause a poor extension, buck or resist on cues due to the discomfort and confiscation to the movement of the saddle. English Saddle are based on a solid tree, over which leather and padding materials are added. The tree of an English saddle is built of laminated layers of high quality wood reinforced with spring steel along it's length with a riveted gullet plate.
