Made just like the regular Abetta saddles but with a 12 inch seat. Abetta saddles are known for their comfort, light weight, durability, and quality craftsmanship. Because it is made of Cordura and built on a Ralide tree this saddle is light enough for the youngster to carry his/her own saddle. It weighs only 15 pounds. The saddle is unaffected by water. If it gets muddy simply wash it off w/ a hose and let dry in the shade. The seat is well padded.
Extra safety features include a "beartrap" pommel (see picture) and tapaderos so little (and not so little) feet don't get hung up in the stirrup. Saddle is rigged with Nylon/leather "halfbreed" rigging w/ 2 inch dees just like the big Abettas.
This saddle is built on the Abetta "All-Around" tree by Ralide and covered with a three layer laminated Cordura exterior over closed cell shock absorbing foam. Ralide trees are guaranteed for 5 years against breakage. It features a 12 inch padded seat w/ a 2 1/2 inch "highback" style cantle, 3 1/4 inch leather covered horn, sterling silver conchos, and tapadero stirrups.
